Congrats! Getting scouted means having your own art posted in the portal and that means more visibility. This happened because someone, who has been previously scouted, decided that your art is good enough for the portal. Now you can scout too but be careful to scout only people worthy the portal since it is thought to be a place where really good-looking pieces can be shown.
Now you can submit art in the portal, ofc you can submit work to your user page and people can still see your works if they visit your profile. You need a minimum of 4 artworks submitted in your profile and marked as public during the submission process in order to make you eligible for scouting. Again congratulations and have fun in the Portal!
